Anyone else having login issues?

I often have to login several times when I click around. I will login and be good in one thread and then when I goto another topic my login is dropped and I have to re-login again. Sometimes I will be dropped when I go to the end of a thread or try to post. Sometimes I have to close the browser and comeback in again to see posts that I just added.

It seems to be getting worse. I had to login 3 times tonight. Some nights its even worse.

I use IE 6 and have cookies set to medium-high. This setting is fine for other sites.

How do you determine that the login session is ended - by looking at the right menu where it says login/logout or when you make a post in that thread, it comes as guest?

The reason I am asking this question, is that the problem you are facing might be due to old cookies and cache. Try deleting all old cookies and cache. If the problem still continues, we will definitely give it a thorough check.

This is a good example. I was logged in at the main page. All I did was click in here.

I clean out cookies everyother day. Just did it last night. This problem has been going on for a couple of months and has gotten worse lately.

So it did take it even though I got the usual Guest prompt where you have to specify name. I also did not have "Welcome Glen" displayed in the previous post but have it now.

So I am logged in and its just displaying guest prompts at times.

And yes the right menu's do not show me as logged in when this is happening.

Also having problems. Getting message to log in and then request a password....have been requesting since first signed up. I did double check and you have my correct email address. For some reason I am not receiving an email from you with the password. What do I do now? Thank you for helping me.

I think I may have figured out the problem.

Actually I had been booted out to guest status while logged in but I may have the solution.

I had bookmarked the Creditor Database forum and was going directly into that. I changed it to the main forum page and going in that way has been preserving my login credientials, not only upon entry but also as a move around in the threads.

Hi merrytoday,

I have not received your email, could you please send it again with Subject: Require login details? My email address is mike(at)debtconsolidationcare.com

When a user registers with this site, the system displays the password instantly. It seems you have missed the welcome page somehow. Please try the Retrieve Password option; enter the email address that you used while registering here.

Please let me know if you need any more information.

Regards
Mike

Mike...sent you another email and now waiting for any response from you. After sending that email I once again tried to log in and requested my password. WELL....then tried to re-register and message said my name (merrytoday) and email was already in use. SO....now very curious as to why not getting any responses. Wonder if system is getting weary of my using the Retrieve Password Option.Hope you got my last email and will respond. Thank you for your assistance....merrytoday

It still works!

Ever since I set my favorite link to point to the main page instead of a sub-forum I have not had any problems.

As a test I tried comming in again through a sub-forum and there were problems. Apparently you have to link directly into the main page.
