WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG? DO I NOT QUALIFY?
SOMEONE HELP!

I am just reading ALL the posts here and I would like to say that you don't make a very good impression and I personally would not at this point vote for you. You have a fresh mouth and I don't think you are quite ready for the title. I have nothing against you. When you do give help, it is very helpful, but when you start mouthing off, it is very offensive. Please do yourself a favor and read through all your posts, and try to take this as a constructive thing.

I believe getting a tag is not that important especially when one really means to help other. It can be done anyway, with or without a role.

I know I have good posts in my kittie, still I don't hold any designation. Maybe I need to improve to get that role and for this reason, I will continue to post till one finds my posts suitable.

Thanks steelers! I have seen people in this website who hold their designations. I have not seen yet, they did something that doesn't suit to their role. It needs a lot of responsibility and maturity after you are into the shoes. And this site has been great in their choices for the roles that are made so far.

That is so true suebee---titles are just that--titles. True service to others or for others comes from the heart and does not need or want recognition. If it happens, then great. When I received the honor about 6 weeks after I joined, I was honored---did it make me feel any different---no. I still answer questions and post comments the way I always did.

Beauty, one question for you. Please let me know your thoughts.

Suppose, you are not given the Debt Samaritan role in the next announcement for some reasons, will you still continue to be on this board and help others like you are doing now?

What I mean is I will like to know your thoughts if you are not given the role this time and you have to wait for some more time to get the Debt Samaritan role, or maybe for a moderator also? Just curious..

See, I still hold no role on the board but I am still here.. :)

Beauty, please be patient. Being a Debt Samaritan is a huge honor. Your posts are very helpful and informative, but it takes time for this to happen. Why is this something you want so badly? I'm sure that there are others on this board who deserve it and want it as well...Please be patient, your turn will come.

There are different ways you can become a moderator..

You can ASK to be one....

But more often than that, Vikas and the guys behind the scenes receive recommendations by members..You can send a PM to them and say, "I think so and so would be a great Debt Sam...Or Moderator" They get the information and make a decision.

debhendricks

You earn some debtcc points every time when a post is done. You can redeem these points into cash. This is one of the community welfare program offered by this website. It's been really helpful especially to those fighting with debts.

The first redemption can be done after you have 1000 points in your account. It will be equal to $10. Send a request to Vikas or Mike after having the minimum points. Right now, I see you have 204 points. So, start posting and interact with the community.

Keep in touch with us. You will learn many new things and have fun here.

my oh my, how far things have come, we now have people anxious to become DS's Mods and the like.. I think that is a good sign... remember this beauty and all who hold and/or seek a role... the title does not make the person... the person makes the title....

happy holidays
