plasma

ok, I sold my plasma, for $30 every time. i know you're only supposed to do it two times a week, but i did it every day. see, i would do it in one city on monday, then drive 20 miles somewhere else on tues, then back to the original city on wed. you get the picture. I'm lazy, and I don't want to work, so I thought this was a great idea, I mean, $150 a week to do nothing. Then I would return things I had laying around if I needed more money. Easy dough.
well, then my vein collapsed. here's where I need your help. I need more money, but i can't donate for awhile because of my vein. can I sue one of the plasma places for malpractice or something? I won't tell them i've been donating every day, i'll let them think i only go when i'm supposed to.
Bustedvein, rather than worrying about whether you can sue someo
Bustedvein, rather than worrying about whether you can sue someone, if I were you, I'd be more concerned about my health. There's a reason why they only let you donate twice a week. You're lucky if a collapsed vein is your only problem. I don't think you'd get far by trying to sue anyone. I think they would realize that you were trying to con them if they see that you drove 20 miles on off days. Also, didn't you use a lot of gas money driving back and forth?
I think it would be less exhausting getting a real job, which by the way, would pay a lot more, as well.

Just thought I will let you know that no one here is going to offer you any legal advice. Don't take anything to a legal point. We are here to offer suggestions from our point of view. Please see an attorney if you need any legal help.

I would think that the clinics keep a computerized record of donors and their donation dates, etc. If threatened with a lawsuit, I'm sure their the clinic's legal reps would do some "investigating" and find out what you've been up to.
If you've signed anything before donating that says you will not/have not donated when you're not supposed to, or anything to that effect, and you get caught in a lie, you could be facing more problems than you started with, I would think.
Also, I agree with dbaker, you should be thinking of your health. What are you going to do if you can't donate plasma, and are physically unable to get a real job due to your health?

If I were you I would seriously think about going to your neighborhood mental health clinic and find out why you feel the need to punish your body in this manner. Not only is this physically unhealthy, but it is metally unhealthy as well. You need someone to talk to.
Bustedvein, I know a few people that have been in your situation
Bustedvein, I know a few people that have been in your situation, for whatever reason, it was easier for them to donate plasma and blood. Here is another money making thought. If you are a female up to age 31 and you are a non-smoker, you can donate your eggs. On the flip side if you are a male, then you could donate your sper*. You should give your busted veins a rest. BTW, when you donate plasma do they give you ice cream/cookies like they do when you give blood? Because that is kind of like killing two birds with one stone, you get money for your plasma and a meal.
I don't even think this story is true. If he can afford to drive
I don't even think this story is true. If he can afford to drive all over the place to donate, that would eat up all his money. Just another kid bored and wants to see how gullible people are!!..Karen

I'm sorry that you find yourself in a position where you feel driving miles upon miles every week and putting your health in serious danger is a suitable alternative to a job.
None of us can offer you legal advice. However, from one person to another, I don't think you'd win if you took this to an attorney. If you feel you have a case, you are certainly entitled to do so - it's your choice.

steelers1 you seem nice. can you give me some advice? you know a lot about making money, do you have any other ideas? i'm afraid to donate my eggs, because what if I don't have enough for me to have babies later on? it's always better to be safe than sorry. oh yeah, they give cookies, but i don't eat them, because they are hydrox, not oreo, and i have really expensive taste.
I will not judge you for your expensive taste Bustedvein. Just d
I will not judge you for your expensive taste Bustedvein. Just donate one egg, when you are conceived you are already predetermined with the number of children nature will allow you to have. So just try donating one, and see if the docs can tell you how many you have left, that way you will know how many to donate. Also, I heard that an unnamed man in a state psychiatric facility is planning to set up a stand under a bridge buying kidneys, if all else fails that would be your last ditch chance to earn rent money.

A human female typically has about 400,000 follicles/potential eggs, all formed before birth. Only several hundred of these ???????eggs??????? will actually ever be released during her reproductive years.
I think you will have enough.

The Great Northeast Blackout (November 9, 1965 at 5:27 pm)
On a fall afternoon in November 1965, I was arduously studying kinematics in the library of the University of Massachusetts where I went to engineering school.
Author's note: I was more likely flirting with some busty co-ed in the study hall.
It was late in the afternoon, as I recall. The lights flickered once or twice. A few seconds later, there was nothing but pure darkness as the power went off.
I heard a deep voice in the cavernous room say:
"This is God speaking."
There was a silent pause as a few people snickered. Then the voice continued:
"Due to lack of interest, today has been cancelled!"
The power was out for approximately 12 hours, extending into the next morning.
It was the largest power outage in US history.
Okay, is there a full moon or what? They're all out tonight.

Guest who experienced the largest outage in US history, did you find out if they were real? Or did those cosmetic proceedures exist back then?
Brownsugar, try googling it, you may find your answer, I'm not sure.
