Omg, Beauty left?? Why?? And did Doug Danger shoot his mouth off again??

Doug is banned. And I for one am more than happy that Ashley is gone. (And Beauty for that matter). I almost left at one point, but I decided that I wouldn't let people like Ashley and Beauty run me off. I think with these three gone this forum is going to go back to what it was intended for and that is to help and support those in debt. And to help and support those of us who are still dealing with our debt issues.

Fins, you are totally right. I for one will be glad to see it go back to normal.

Steelers, I'm so glad you decided to stay. People like the ones that left are not worth it. Good riddance.

I feel I've made some friends on this board, and I would hate to see any of them go. We all know who contributes what to this board and where the recognition should go. If we're comfortable with what we're posting and feel like we're making a contribution, that's what should matter. Just my 2 cents.

I didn't either, but I am so glad that you are still here guys - I can't tell you how you av esave me and what little sanity that I have left (and that's not a lot considering I am certifiable) Without you all and kyside too I would have lost everything! I know that this is true. I will never be able to repay any of you for a small act of kindness and wise words of encouragement that gray day I found you all in November. Thank you is such a small phrase, but it comes with a full heart.

Doug Danger got his IP addy banned, but he still managed to come back as guest..He must've just gotten bored and left! :lol:

I doubt Priddy Patty is Doug/Beauty. But I can tell you this one thing, Beauty worked or may even still work for Bass and Associates, she/he shared that bit of info. in one of the pm's sent to me from Beauty.

If that can happen, I would like to see her do a duet with Clay Aiken. But if they can get a guest judge on their to do a duet with her I would like to see either Barry Manilow or Burt Bacharach. Kanye West would be my first choice, but I wasn't even going to waste a wish on that one, I know he is too busy.

Pretty sure Beauty and Doug are not the same. For one, Beauty is no longer collecting, at least for the firm she used to work for.

Beauty was a lot more emotional and whiney than Doug. Doug was arrogant and opposite in personality than Beauty. I have to agree with Sam, not the same ... unless either of them has a split personality.

fins ... I'm not going to leave. Despite the entertainment value of this site (yes, I'm a little weird), I actually get some good information from this site. I just filter out the garbage and try not get involved until it lands in home base. Although, I am worried about the letters Ashley gave me to send out.

I, for one, am not going to leave, regardless of the veiled attacks on me by a certain "guest". And I'm certainly not going to let someone like Doug Danger run me off.

Do you actually think these people are real? Do you think there is a Doug Danger Collector and Beauty Ex-Collector? These people are just pulling your chain and enjoying all the attention you give them. They could be an out of work accountant or a bored stay-at-home rich woman for all you know. Just because someone says their life is a certain way doesn't make it so. This is the internet, for crying out loud! I can't believe you fall for such nonsense. Or, maybe you enjoy sparing with make believe people.

This just lends more ammunittion of the idea of having to register before you post; I cannot for the life of me understand why they won't make that a reality. I don't agree that it will "scare away" people.

I think that is what the point was, and I most agree. You can be anyone you want to be on the internet. It does not matter if you sign up or not. Just because you sign up does not mean you are not lying through your teeth on your posts. Most people are the real deal on this forum. But, there are people that are probably posting on many forums, on many subjects, all over the internet just because they enjoy getting a rise out of people. I made this point one other time. That is why I wouldn't waste my time getting all worked up about someone who insults me online.

It is so funny, but when both Beauty and Ashley were first on this site I found them to be icky. When I expressed my opinion about it, it was all of you who jumped down my throat and told me "to go away guest" if you don't like it. My point in posting this is please don't be so quick to write off a guest and defend members. As it turns out, my instincts were correct. Thank you.

I think the best thing, though, is a need to hold our tongues. Trust me - I can shoot off fast on people, and other times, I just bite it and keep quiet. Let it pan out and see what happens.

Well Folks All I can say is I am the real deal. LOL When I first came to this site I never even realized that payday loans were against the laws in my state. I never defaulted on them just ripped off by thousands of dollars. When I first came here people were very kind. I know I will leave somebody out but Polly Fins Tammy Mishele Jessi and Sue (whom I miss terribly)! You all saved me more than you will ever know. I got my life back. I wont be leaving the site because if I live to be ninety which I probably wont I will go down helping people fight against these payday people. I have become a very educated person on payday loans. I have more to learn and I learn more every day from each of you all. So folks I am the real deal as corny as I may be. Many of you all I consider to be true friends. I don't care if this is just a messageboard, I've made some real, true friends here.

I remember how it used to be, when we all jumped into chat every night at 7:30pm EST..LOL, remember that, old timers? That's how we all got to know each other, and how we got to be friends. I remember many nights I'd head in there in a bad mood and end up laughing maniacally when someone started trying to trick the spam filter.

I think the board can get back to the way it was then.

Fins, were you in there the night we were seeing what words would make it through the filter? I know Jessi, Sue and I was.

I have to admit that I've had my ire up once or twice, but I'm really here to learn and to help wherever I can. For the most part though, I'm here to soak up as much as I can learn so I can teach it to others who haven't had an opportunity to find this community.

We have to do the chat thing again soon. I should be moving back to dayshift at work in the next couple of weeks since I'm moving to Travel Services or possibly to supervisor. (I turned in my res. for an open supervisor position this morning)

Well, I'm not leaving either!! Been away for a few days due to computer problems :twisted: I came to this site for one purpose- I was scared and had no hope things would ever get better. Thanks to all of those who were here before me, helped me learn my rights, become more responsible with my debts, and get out of debt. I continue to stay to offer others the same hope and education. Because of the type of work I do I tend to be really skeptical of others saying they are who they are. I'm not one to believe you are a rocket scientist just because that's who you say you are. I guess what I'm trying to say is, this is the internet and we all need to be more carefull about what we read or hear. I try to back up what I am saying or refering to with posts, etc., as well as others I have seen post. I won't waste my time responding to vulgar,name calling posts. I'm old and getting older,don't have the time to waste!! I,too, hope this forum can get back where it used to be when I first came on the board. I have made some great friends who are really supportive, not only to me, but everyone else. :D ..Karen

I haven't been that active over the last month or so but I haven't liked some of the posts on here lately. It doesn't mean that I am going to leave. Some of it does have it's entertainment value. I almost left last year after I was slammed all over the message board. But I was told to stay and I'm glad that I did. I was helped through my pdl mess on this board and I've been getting help with other debt issues as well. This message board is about learning and helping others, in my opinion. I have made some good friends here. People that helped me through my mom's cancer and other issues. I think most of us here are the "average joes" who got caught up in the debt mess and want to help others by what we've learned. I remember the old chat days. I remember once when Fins and Jessi had me laughing so hard after a bad day that I almost wet myself. I really didn't know much about Beauty but she seemed to have her own issues. Ashley, well obviously she has shown her true colors this past week. I believe Doug is still posting as a guest, sometimes good, sometimes bad. It's a mix of people on the board and that's what makes it interesting in my opinion. I remember the days that I was just a "guest" too. I was helped so much and we need to do that with the others who will come this way as well :-)

Yes I guess she did show her "true colors" by saying goodbye and not coming back. I guess the others here didn't reslly show their true colors by the way they acted in response to her farewell post and a simple confession she made. I have more respect for her as she said what she had to say and was done with you all, the rest of you seemed to have had to beat it to death. Gee I wonder who REALLY showed their true colors on this boards?

yes, there are far too many haters here. I think they are unhappy with themselves because their stomachs are most likely upset. If they would make sure they got enough iron, maybe their moods would improve and they would not hate.
