This thing was really necessary. One bad post can spoil many good things of this forum. And some bad people were after this group. The creditors / collectors were facing problems because of this community as their illegal doings were exposed. It was in their mind that they could hit this community first and break it. I see no other way to relate how all this happened all of a sudden.

I hope it works. It was very distracting trying to read post from people offering, and needing help... only to run into all the bitter, negative post. There are too many people that need this forum, and more like it, to allow such selfish acts to run them off.

I say a very loud "THANK YOU" to this change. I was starting to think I was on soap opera forum over these last few days. With all of the attacks back and forth it was hard to get or give information and it was becoming difficult to post help for ones that needed it. Thanks again for policy change!

I have deleted some topics in the Pub started by Doug Danger yesterday. It's useless keeping it.

All fellow moderators, if you read a post by guest insulting members here, please delete them and put your comment in red. Time to do a clean up and I need all your help.

I just did some heavey Spring cleaning in the Pub. All the posts that created drama and arguing are deleted.

I am sorry that the measures in making things positive came out lately. We ran through a lot of thoughts and discussions on other alternatives before guest posting was stopped. Just for one bad person in the crowd, many other visitors may not appreciate this idea of signing in first. But, it is just not right to let the feelings of the present members hurt. You all are the makers of this board; we must take care of you first. The visitors coming here will understand the real purpose this board intends to deliver.

I just read the PMs I received yesterday. I was doing the technical stuff, so didn't check my PMs and reply back. It was just the time when we were doing the programming, personal attacks was spread all over.

I know few members are hurt and are having a change of thoughts. Please reconsider it one more time.

I can moderate two forums now but I would love to be able to moderate another one. Perhaps collection agency as I am learning more and more about this due to my own circumstances? I haven't been around much lately but I'm glad to see things slowly getting back to normal.

Thank goodness this madness will stop. Yesterday was a rough one. I have been trying to keep the ones I moderate cleaned up when I am on. But, it seemed the pub was the target yesterday.

Tammy, you are right, the Pub was being hit last night and poor Bossy spent her time on here cleaning up as fast as she could. I was so relieved this morning when I saw this message and no disrespectful threads or posts. :D It was peaceful.

I know it! The sun was shining and the birds singing this morning in the forum. Last night was nothing short of Hell!

Bossy pm'd me for help. She said she spent 3 hours deleting. She was frazzled about 8:30.

Mishele, check the collection agency forum in a while. You will have your moderating rights.

Jason, Mike, and Vikas-thank-you all, again!! Like Tammy said, I spent over 3 hours deleting and locking posts last night. They were coming as fast as I could delete!! I,too, hate it about the guest thing, but something had to be done to get this forum back to its intended purpose. Then they started posting in forums I couldn't delete, so I pmd others to help. I,too, am able to mod in other forums, if needed. Now we can get this back to where we can truly help others... :D Karen

Thanks Karen and Tammy for your true support. I can imagine how hard it was when you were doing all to restore it to normal. I appreciate yours and everyone's contribution who witnessed this incidence and stayed strong.

I would like to thank all of you for trying to keep some decorum where chaos was abounding! I was just reading and my head was reeling! Thank you all for trying. I come hee because of the calmness that it brings into my life, and everyone here helps me remin stable, and I enjoy a good battle every now and then, but the two who were here over the weekend went beyond insanity. Thank you all for being thee for me and for all who will need you in the future.

It's great to have everyone back to their normal selves - even you, Jeff! Thanks, Vikas, Mike and Jason, for the difficult decision you had to make to ban guests. In my opinion, if people are serious about getting out of debt, they won't have a problem registering. It would have been awful to have someone come here for help and see all these negative posts and have to think twice before asking us for help, so I really think you didn't have much of a choice in the matter.

By the way, Jeff, COFFEE would be great - cream and sugar, please?
