what is PM?

PM is private message. If you look under your post you will see three buttons, profile, pm, and email. If you look to the upper right of the screen you will see "you have no new messages" if you want to send a pm to another member click on that, if you have a pm from another member it will will say "you have **(number) of message(s). Notify on new Private Message:

By default it is set to No. Click Yes. When you get a new message, a pop up will say you have a new message and will take you to the inbox. You won't miss any messages of other members
