Anyone else watch them anymore?

I used to watch the "Young and the Restless" all the time when I was working second shift, but now that I work first, I can't watch them. I have Soapnet also, but I haven't watched them for so long, I probably couldn't figure out what is going on.

Alexandra - I quit watching the soaps 18 years ago - after watching NBC soaps faithfully - when I started to say the same old tired lines before the actors said them. I am not into reality stuff either - I like crime shows or court tv or a good murder mystery. Toss in acouple seven hanky movies and I am good for go.

I watch Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful everyday. If I'm not home, I will use the trusty DVR to record the programs.

Lol, I'm reading it because "Days of our lives" is my guilty pleasure. The guys at work always turn it on, and I sneak into the break room every little bit between 1pm and 2pm to catch a glimpse. I tell myself I don't really like it, but if I'm at home on a weekday at 1pm, guess what I turn on?

That's so true. I used to watch soaps all the time, but that was 20+ years ago. My daughter, though, started watching GH when she was 14 and has been watching it faithfully since then. She's never missed an episode. If she has to work, she tapes it and watches it that night and saves her partying for the weekends! She'll be 30 this year, so that makes it 16 years she's been watching.

After a 10-15 year hiatus from soaps, I just started watching Days of Our Lives again and am hooked. Hubby thinks I'm nuts cause I yell at the TV. Especially after today's episode! :D
Used to watch General Hospital and was a huge Frisco fan!
