I would call them, let them know what your stand is on this and tell them to stop contacting your family and that you are not allowed to receive calls at work. Have you filed any complaints against them yet? If not do that ASAP and let them know you have done so. And don't listen to their verbage that you have to follow their state laws, they have to follow the consumer's state laws.

I would also send them a cease and desist in writing and let them know that they are only to contact you in writing. If they persist in calling your family members document this--as it would be harassment at that point.

just got a call from a law office that i took out a payday advance loan and they have me on video? but there is no store in my area? only internet? so i told them i was going to check into it ? any suggestions?

I would also send the C&D letter. It might not help but it never hurts to try.
