Re: Prayers please

Having read about and praying for Linda and Cassie, I thought I'd share an article I read. Seems recently there was a study probing for links between prayer and patients.
The study had various people pray for patients in two groups. Patients in the first group were not informed that people were praying for them (they were told after they recovered). It was disclosed to the patients of the second group that people were praying for them.
As a whole, patients in the first group fared much better than patients from the second group. The conclusion of the study surmised that hospitalized persons believe that if other people are praying for them, the situation is even worse.
The study did not seek to invalidate the power of prayer, but to me, it did prove the power of a PMA.
Just food for thought.
