I see your point. I think you do run that risk. My thought on avoiding it - if you are going to post with a guest account, make that post informative and non-attack. Back up your statements with facts, not just loaded with opinions.

True True!! There are two sides of every coin. It doesn't matter whether you are a guest or a member. When you have a point, make it. Everyone will hear you.

Guest, I believe that you have been in the forums for quite some time. No one will ask you to reveal your identity unless you feel it for yourself. And when you started the topic, I have the feeling that you never posted anything bad here. I count you in the list of good visitors.

board in which I expressed my opinion of Direct Tv. I told him to try not to take it personal and apologized if I offended him but he still seems offended. Don't really know what else he wants.

Cajun, that's all you can do. Guest, I know things really got out of hand before, and some people may still be on guard. A lot of hurtful things were said on both sides, and I think it will just take some time to blow over. I would like to thank you, though, for coming back.

No one will hold any vengeance against anyone. This is a good topic to start with constructive comments and feedbacks. We all can share our ideas on this topic so that everyone benefits. Some changes happened on this board recently, bringing up some advantages and disadvantages. We all can acknowledge and be a part of it by expressing our comments.

The way I see it, if "Guests" come here and leave helpful info, there will not be any conflicts. I, myself, am still weary of "Guests". That is not because they are able to post now, but b/c of the past experiences that this whole forum has had with ppl just coming on here and wrecking the whole place. Some of the guests have very, very helpful and important info. Don't take any of us wrong, we enjoy reading your posts just as much as someone that is a member. Keep posting :wink: :wink: :wink:

I can definately see both sides of this issue. As you can see, I am a guest, and have been a guest for over two years to this site. I think that personalities will be what they are whether you are a member or you are a guest. Some members never berate a guest for not signing on, some members do. Some guests will berate members and some guests will never do that. I think it has to do with both sides being able to vent their own personal frustrations at stangers without any real consequences. If you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing. Treat each other as you would like them to treat you, your spouse, your children. No one is better than someone else just because they have signed on. It's harder to take the high road, but it sure feels better! Sorry to sound preachy, but I really don't like this kind of stuff. There are way more important things in this life to get worked up about.

amen, guest! I think it comes down to having a ton of personalities crammed into a small space, basically. There are going to be friends & non-friends, agreements & disagreements, constructive comments & criticisms.
