I spent three months reading threads no this forum before I joined. After seeing the valuable information on this forum, I decided to sign up and seek advice. I am grateful that I did. I have been on this site for nearly a month and what I once thought was a bunch of closely nit people who had come to rely on one another in times of need has slowely changed. All of a sudden people are attacking one another and the people that helped me the most are leaving the forum and it makes me sad. I just wanted to say to those who have felt frustrated or feel as though they have been attacked: I appreciate all that you did to help me and I am sorry to see you go...


OMG I used to use Limewire!!! I know....I was stealing :( I got scared and deleted it off my computer. I am not using anything now, just listening to my current collection. I have never heard of Grokster. I am afraid to download any music on my home computer-it's virus free and I want to keep it that way! Let me know if you find a good place that isn't too expensive.

I'll let you know. Don't feel too bad, I'm a fellow pirate as well. Grokster was totally free, you could share with other thieves, but I never did. I figured I had less chance of getting busted that way! Now there is a big disclaimer on the homepage..I'm such a pansy, but the last thing I need is a fine that big!

I work at a university and me and some coworkers had been using Limewire at work and then a couple weeks ago I saw an article that the music industry was starting to go after all these people on college campuses and charging them like $750 a song and I have over 1000 songs downloaded from them!!!!!! It scared me to death. I have heard that Winmix was good, and warez, but I am too scared to do any more free sharing stuff. Itunes is 99 cents I have heard but I have never checked it out. I'm a pansy, too!!!!
