My blog entry today is directed to all the lurkers out there and even the ones who post daily. Debt can be overwhelming and in some instances so overwhelming that you think of doing something desperate, please folks, PLEASE check my blog entry for today as it has a couple of stories out there to let you know that you aren't alone in how you feel, for one woman she still has hope for another, he killed his hope. Debt is not worth killing yourself over, there is a link for those who are in crisis mode. we all know and have experienced your pain, you are not alone.

I too was is that very dark place a couple weeks ago until I found this forum. Now I have taken control of the situation, hired an attorney to deal with the PDL's and cut off their access to their money. Things I never would have considered had I not found you guys. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. But I can certainly understand the desperation that can bring a person to that point

I agree with your opinion Ashley. Debt is something that can spoil all comforts and put people into tremendous worries. The consequences are real bad and those who go through it only know how painful it can be living there.

One thing to save this from happening is to take control and find a way out just when you sense that the debts are going out of control. Cut off all your expenses and live on available cash. People mostly use credit when they fall short in cash. This is the beginning of the painful moments nearby. If you don't have cash, using credit won't help because the creditors will ask you to pay them back. If you don't have money to pay them back, new problems will come amidst your existing ones. The creditors won't take time to get a judgment and force you to pay the debts. If this something you don't want to happen, you have to pull your chains at the preliminary stage when you are out of cash. That is the time to take control and find better ways to live life, you deserve.

Ashley---your post leading to your blog will undoubtedly offer hope to all who are in desperate and dire straits. As someone who has suffered greatly throughout my adult life with depressive illness, I realize that mounting debt has contributed alot to my emotional state. Nothing, especially debt is ever THAT important that your life is at risk.
