Avatar?

Do you have to have a certain number of posts to be able to have an avatar? :D

Nope, you can even put an avatar after your first post.
That's what I was hoping, but I don't have the option to change
That's what I was hoping, but I don't have the option to change mine. It just has a dot to " do not use an avatar". I've tried to click it to remove the dot and I've tried to "reset fields" and I can't get it to work! 
I hope I don't have to remain a faceless character . . .
