Search?

It seems like something is wrong with the website lately. The search box at the top doesn't seem to work (there is no search button and when I simply press "enter" it doesn't work either.) Searching the forums is a very important way to navigate the forum and it's difficult to use without the feature working.
Is this just me that this is happening to or are others experiencing this issue?
Also, there is a small box that links to the homepage on the left side that seems like it should be an image, but it is just a box on my screen.
