Didn't know where to post this

i have been getting these calls as well, telling me that this is my last chance...my final phonecall for this offer, blah blah blah. yet i still keep getting the phonecalls. they've even gotten ahold of my work number and have called on that too, not to mention the countless postcards i've received about this too. thanks for the information about filing the complaints, i'll get on that tomorrow. anything to keep this nonsense from reoccuring.

Wow, they are still at it? My mom & uncle both got those calls over 2 years ago. Maybe it's becoming ubiquitous like the Nigerian scam.

My daughter got mail and calls about her warranty expiration. She has a used 2000 Cavalier...LOL

We filed a complaint but she still gets the calls and the mail.

My mom had a 1990 Ford Escort at the time so it was especially hilarious. My uncle had just bought a used (private sale) Escort for $900....

What is interesting is that these spam and telemarketing scams continue because they *work*. And that is a sad indictment on the decreasing educational levels of this country. I would NEVER NEVER NEVER order anything from someone emailing me or calling me out of the blue. If I want it, I'll ask. "If I don't ask - get lost" is a good philosophy to have when it comes to salesman.

I get them all the time also, usually different numbers each time, I will also file another complaint, I've filed several but it hasn't stopped the calls yet. lol

i havent ever purchased a car with a warranty and have been getting these calls religiously for the last 2 years.?? They never give up.

I know, it gets sickening with these calls. My son who is 16 and doesn't even own a car is getting them. I told him to hang up when he gets one. They are hitting our area pretty hard right now with these calls. My cell phone carrier is even getting them at their office but cannot block the number because they keep coming from diferent numbers.

i was telling my dad about this and he said the same thing that hes getting them on his cell phone. Its bad enough getting them at home but on your cell phone? there is no escaping the scammers!

Well it is illegal to get a pre-recorded call on your cell phone. Thats why I got so ticked off when they kept calling. I am not saying that contacting the FTC will make the calls stop, but I am sure the FTC will shut them down. But they will start up somewhere else like all the scammers do.

they call my cell phone all the time - they called my sprint phone than i got a new number with t-mobile and they still call!

FTC Files Lawsuit against Deceptive Companies falsely claiming to extend Auto Warranty. According to the Associated Press, there were 4,000 complaints filed with the BBB in the last 2 years against these fraudulent firms.

lol We were just called yesterday, and received an actual notice in the mail too!
