Long story short...

Currently my truck is having tons of issues and I am a little scared everyday when I take it to work. I drive 50 miles round trip to work. The work that needs to be done is going to cost more than the truck is worth. Plus there is an electrical problem going on and that is going to cost a ton of money just to figure out whats going on.

Well anyway this weekend we were up at the cabin and hubby made me pull into a car lot because he wanted to check out this truck that was sitting there. OMG was it a CLEAN truck!!! It didn't even look like it was a 2003. The guy who owned it before took VERY good care of it. NO RUST ANYWHERE!!!!And it wasn't smoked in!! Well we took it for a ride and it was great. So we filled out the paperwork for financing and will know sometime this week if we get it or not. Oh...and the price was a steal also!!! So I am asking you to keep your fingers crossed for me. As I REALLY need a good truck to get to work safe. Yes I need a truck to get there because it is all country roads and during the winter I need to get there and back safely!! My current truck did a great job of doing that, but I just don't feel safe in it anymore. I just don't think we could find another one in the same condition and with that low of miles on it for the price we will be getting it for. Oh...and for a 4x4 it gets 21 MPG!!

If I do get it I will post a pic. for those of you who kept their fingers crossed for me.

I just have this feeling they are going to say no. Because of all the collections we had on our credit report and the stupid internet payday loan illegal collections on there also. We have paid off quite a few collections so that may help. IDK I guess I want it sooo bad but I am in the mind set that it will get turned down so I don't feel so bad when it does. Does that make sense? This would be a great 40th b-day present for me :)

Thank you all for your support :D I have been trying to make a deal with my credit union and the dealers financing dept. The truck IS mine :D I got an offer from the dealer that I can afford easy. Now I am waiting for my credit union to call me today and I will see if they can beat their offer. So either way I will be getting the truck :D :D :D

I am sooooo happy about this because it gets WAY better gas mileage than my explorer. But yes I do know about some things that are known to go wrong with these trucks. But I am getting an awesome extended warrenty so I won't have to worry about those thing for awhile :D

I just wish it was a different color. But I guess I will learn to like it :wink: lol
