fall pics. from the weekend

Gonna try this one more time :evil:

Ok I went on vacation last Friday and got home last night. No we didn't get to go fishing :cry: thanks to mother nature and her wind and rain. But I did make it out to my treestand, no I didn't get anything, but I did see lots just didn't get "the shot" I saw 2 does and their fawns (the little ones were so cute) I did have a shot at one of the does, but I WILL NOT shot my bow at ANY deer that has a baby with it, no matter what the size of the baby is. That would be just like someone shoting me or hubby in front of my kids. But then I saw 2 bucks (was shaking so bad I would even been able to shoot lol) They were fighting, it was awesome. That was something I only saw in hunting shows. I saw a bunch more, but just enjoyed sitting in the woods. Then I had a squirrel climb up my treestand lol he peeked at me over the back of my stand and then went on up the tree. I had birds landing so close to me that I could have just grabbed them. I saw a black fox run through. But enough of that. I took some pics. now that the colors are starting to change. Thought I would share. And I also have a pic. of a deer that came so close to the cabin it was cool. And no I don't hunt by the cabin, just feed tons of animals there lol. Hubby says they eat better then we do. Here are the pics.


Nice pics, sorry mother nature was so mean to you. We have our back yard set up as a natures salad bar too, lol. Love to watch the little ones buck around and play fight. That would have been really cool to see a black fox, never have. Hopefully mother nature will be nicer to you next trip.

Thank you!!! I'm glad you all liked the pics. I am going to post one of my fav. fall pics. I took it in 2003 when we were taking the boat out for the last time for the year (hopefully I can talk hubby into doing that on sun.) Someone even made this pic. into a background for incredimail for me. I love the fall with all the different colors. I am hoping that it isn't too windy this weekend (it is supposed to be) so the leaves stay on the trees for awhile.

LOL Cannr I am hoping to leave by 11:00am lmk, I don't think Cannr wants those little pellets rolling around in her suitcase lmao but you can ride in the back of the truck lol. j/k . If there was a way, any of you would be more than welcome up at my home away from home. Hubby hates the ride home because I get all crabby lol. I tell him ok then, I will stay up here and you can just send me money every week lol. I get the look :roll: So I guess thats a no :cry: I would be in big trouble if I had a computer up there, because I am out on the deck all the time (unless it's below zero) so I would have to have a spot out there for the computer :wink: I will post more pics. if I get any good ones this weekend. I will bring the camera out in the woods with me and hopefully the black fox will come through again. Not gonna count on it, in the past 6 years I have been hunting I have seen it 3 times.
