Oh this is wonderful.. I don't have to pay quickpayday anymore! They sent me an email a few weeks ago saying they would reduce me amount owed by $160, which brought my amount owed to $200. I called them, and they took another $50 off for me. I did some math and sent them a letter...You guys here gave me all kinds of ideas! I got an email from them this morning saying my account was paid in full and that they pride themselves on excellent customer service. Whatever. I replied to the email telling them I want a written statement from them saying my account is paid in full. If I don't get this in the mail by Friday I will tell them again I want a written statement.
Anyway..Everyone who's dealing with quickpayday, the fire's hot, they want to make all kinds of deals.

Yes, you should insist on getting a written statement from the PDL Company. Unless you get something like this in writing mentioning about the account, you won't have your basis strong enough. Besides, some other company might contact you for the same account and ask you for the money. Then you can prove them about the account being paid.

Hopefully, this matter gets resolved soon. Do let us know about it.

oh believe me, I will keep bugging..everything to do with quickpayday has always smelled bad, so I'm sure this won't be easy or quick. But I am a pretty darn good bookkeeper most of the time, and I printed a copy of the email they sent me and the one I sent back. Hopefully they move fast, but I doubt it. At least they're out of my life.

I will say, watch out for Quik Payday, I received an e-mail stating my account was paid in full, then they turned around and said I had two accounts with them. As most of you know, this is not possible with quik payday. I called them about it and it sounds like they were trying to fudge my e-mail address and bank account numbers. SCAM! I wrote them back and said if they ever tried to collect on it, I would sue them. I have proof that my account was paid in full and I'm leaving it at that.

They were sued in Colordao for operating there without a license! There was $2 million dollar settlement to the customers in December.
They are scared and trying to get what they can now. Don't let them get away with it....Tell them you're account is paid in full, or else you will file complaints with your AG's office.
That will probably scare the pants of 'em!

I had a loan through quickpay loans. I fell behind on not renewing my loan and quickpayday tried to debit the full principle plus the interest rate the following week. I had to put a stop payment on them. A week later they called me at home at work demanding payment. They finally offered to settle the loan with me for the principle.
