Save Leigh Ann is maintained by Leigh Ann Fraley, a finance expert by profession. She has been blogging since September 2005 and primarily focuses on how to get out of debt and day to day struggles of a debtor.
She had a $20,000 credit card debt and started this blog to get out of debt, overspending and writing down her move towards a debt free life. And you would be happy to know that, she took only a year to become debt free.
We asked her to tell something about herself and she said – “I love to shop, but feel guilty after buying and return a lot of it. Not enough that I didn't still owe though! I play the harp, but can't afford to rent one...they cost a fortune! I have the most supportive family on earth and love to fix my issues and become successful at overcoming them. I love to be creative and come up with ideas to accomplish things, in different ways than the normal person would.â€Â
Some Financial tips for People in Debt:
1. You owe them money; you don't owe them your life.
2. You have to know how much you spend in order to see where you can save.
3. You also need to know how much you owe so you can start a payment plan that will get you debt free.
4. You have to write down everything, each day, so you can see what your habits are.
5. Don't think your problems are unfixable. Everyone can fix their debt issues.
6. Cut up the credit cards, if you don't pay them off every month. It is too easy to spend and takes a lot of effort to pay it off. It isn't worth it. If you want it bad enough, then save for it!!
