yes I did and I expected as much.. in essence they are settling your claim without admitting guilt.. which means that they feel its better to settle than fight in otherwords they know their legal position.

Thank you for the link and I went there but don't know where to find the info about payday loans. I looked and looked. Do you know where it would be?

Thanks for replying to my post.

katl,

You might want to search the PA Divsion or Dept of Financial Institutions or Bank Commissioner's website, they will probably have some info regarding payday loans. I don't have a direct link but you should be able to google to find the info. If not, check consumerlaw.org to find info on payday loan loans per state. I hope this helps. :)

the information i found where the avenger sent me says as of 2005 that payday loans in Pa are prohibited. Does anyone think that it would be possible for me to get this loan company to like maybe settle for what they've got out of me so far. Like over double what the loan actually was for so far? Any thoughts would help.

Thanks

Ok, how do I contact this "Quik Payday Inc?" Hubby and I never did this kind of loan, now we received a collection letter. Ive googled them to no avail, and collection agency wont give me any info. I refuse to pay for something we never did, without visible proof.
