After reading alot of post about bogus charges to thier accounts,I was wondering,is there any way to make sure these payday loan companies dont give your information away?I have been getting multiple offers from payday loan companies that I have never applied at before, that say that they already have my infomation on file.I do not want another loan, but I do not want my infomation out there for anyone to see.Im afraid that months down the road,I will start getting charges to my checking account for loans that I did not receive.Should I closed my checking account and start a new one?Ive had the same account for years and really dont want to do this, but Im getting a little concerned.Should I send a letter to all these companies, telling them to delete, shred or whatever they need to do to get my infomation out of thier records?I have enough debt already and dont need to worry about getting taken for something that I didnt get in the first place.USA benefits already got me,and I still have not received a refund from them.Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. :?:

Hi twokidtwocat

You should close your accounts when you see unauthorized debits taking place in your account. But presently, you don't need to close your accounts for this purpose. Instead, you can inform your bank to stop all the withdrawals without your permission.

Sending a letter to all the companies about removing your information from their file will be helpful. Get a written copy from them stating that the information has been successfully removed. You will have evidence about your move for later use.
