My husband and I have a credit card debt of 7,000.00 on one of our cards and we have gotten far behind on it and they will not work with us to pay it back. they say that even if we go to a debt counselor they will not except the payment?

Hi, some companies do not want to work with anyone else other than you because they fear that the payments won't be regular to them. Also, there are some cases when the creditors do not wish to reduce the total debt of the person. After the involvement of the consultant, the repayment process gets much easier for the debtor. The consultant has to be skilled enough to make a deal and get the best results for the person.

Do not get scared of the creditors who are restricting your options. You can still consider for some professional help and let the consultant deal with your creditors. He will handle all their calls. All you need to do is to be regular on your payments after enrolling in the program.
