I recieved a call at work from Jackson Phillips, I advised them I could not discuss the issue at work and asked them to call. They in turn called my home number and disclosed my information to my mother in law. I called the number given to me when I got off work and advised them I would gladly make payments to them and asked for them to send me something in writing with the payment amounts, they advised me they were calling the Bell County Sheriffs Department and I would have a warrant put out for me. I asked for an address and they hung up on me. Do you have any information on them?

Chery, I have no idea who they are. I do know one thing it was against the law for them to tell your mother in law anything about your debt. KYSIDE38

Thanks! Is there any way to find out about the company the lady I spoke with initially was Mary St. James, when I called this morning I spoke with Ms. Bea, they are in Florida or Ms. St. James stated that in our conversation yesterday and the number I have is 1-800-871-7738. I worked collections previously so I know the rules and regulations, but I cannot file a complaint without any other information.

I don't know if I am in the right place to write this but this seemed to be the only link I could find to reply to any of the blogs. I am both embarrassed and confused about what I have done with a dispicable payday loan company. I have had the biggest problem with Arrowhead Investment. I have paid them over 1000.00 in "extensions. It was my negligance that let this go on like this. After receiving several emails from a person I did not know, I finally decided to open one of them and read it. It was from a debt collector called Westbury. They said I needed to resolve a debt that I had with a company called Arrowhead. Neither the supervisor or the representative I spoke to told me they were one and the same company. I made a verbal agreement with the rep. to verify this info and call back in 3 days. Unfortunately they withdrew another 100.00 dollars from my account the same day. Does anyone know if I have any legal recourse in doing anything about this or at least finding an address (which they refused to give me over the phone) to get any of my money back??
I would appreciate any info. Thank You, Eileen [/img]

Eileen Welcome to the forums. Stop paying these people. Contact your Attorney Generals office IMMEDIATELY!!!! Consumer division. Go to http://www.paydayloaninfo.org and look up your state laws. This type of interest is predatory and against the law in many states. Also check your secretary of states website to see if they are licensed in your state. You will have top close that bank account these people will not stop taking money. Keep us posted. Best Wishes KYSIDE38
