I want to buy a home but lenders are asking for a sample letter of credit? Does anyone know what that it?

If someone can help me, I will be really greatful.

Welcome to the forums.

Retail banks ask for a sample letter of credit when they see you with a poor credit score ranging below 620. Loans are usually not extended on such scores by them. Do not lose hopes on owning a home at all. See the following sample letter of credit.
