Hello forum,

I recently got a call from USA Fast Cash saying they are bringing my case to court if I don't respond within 48 hours. They left me a phone # to call. Should I be calling these guys back? and is it known that these guys overcharge their loans as well? Any information would be great! I don't know what I should do at this point.
Thanks!

Hello Tammy,
Yes, you are correct. It is US Fast Cash. They gave me a phone # to call of 1-800-430-2740 x 553 and the guy calls himself Mike. He says in the message to me that he is in the process of filing paperwork action against me and he is also verifying my phone # to make sure it is accurate and valid in their file. He also gave me a case # to refer to. Any information or actions I should take would be helpful :)
Thanks much!

Was his name Mike Tank? That is the number United Cash Loans uses. They tried the same tactic with me and got them absolutely no where. He gave me a case number also. I guess they think if they do that people will be scared into giving them whatever amount they want. I filed complaints against them with the AG in my state and in the state of Nevada and with Consumer Affairs in my state and in the state of Nevada.

I concur with all, "This is going to our legal department TODAY" is every creditors favorite battle cry.

When you tell them "OK", they realize their bluff has been called, so they stop doing it every time they call because you can say "Oh I thought this was going to the legal department LAST time you called" LOL.

I believe I have paid about 2 payments of the finance fee that they are charging me so around $300? I can't remember exactly...
So they are not licensed in any State at all? Where is an address I can write to where I want to file a complaint to their company and/or write to their company stating that I would like to communicate through mail correspondence only? They did sound pretty intimidating on the phone...

Hi Tammy,
I am not sure what his full name was but he only mentioned his first name 'Mike'. It's kind of weird how he approached things on the phone because it sounded like he just made up a name and was very unprofessional...more trying to sound threatening...in his message. Do you have any of the information on where you wrote to the AG, the company of Nevada, and all that stuff? These guys sound like prunes who try to sound like they are coming to get me.
Thanks once again...I bet it was Mike Tank...sounds like a made up name.

Tell your family not to worry! These people are criminals and are not licensed to loan in ANY state at all!
Just have someone from your family send them emails stating that they want they're account paid in full and you'll report them to the AG's office criminal division!
Don't get intimidated by them..they can do absolutely nothing!

Write a letter to the company mentioning the state laws. If the charges done are beyond the state laws, you need to claim for a refund from the company. Ask the company to give you the latest loan statement for reviewing purpose. This will help you in understand your payment plans in a better way.

I just got a call from the same company. I stopped payment on a payment to them because my account had been compromised. I offered to pay it with other means, but he is now threatening to sue me if I do not pay at least half by the end of this month. Any advice?

You should first ask for an itemized statement from the lender so that you know the latest status of the debt account. Compare it with your state laws and confirm that there is nothing to dispute on the charges tucked in it. Very few companies come up with the right charges in their statements. I am sure if you find anything to dispute in your statement, you will like to get it fixed first. Then make your payment arrangements in writing. To avoid their threats of filing a legal case against you, send your request for an itemized statement and steal some extra time to arrange $$$.

These people have been calling me and I finally spoke with them when they called me at work. They are trying to say I got 300 loan and the bank refused to let them debit my account. Now they are threatening a lawsuit, I said I disputed it and he actually said "what?" he was so surprized I don't think I will be hearing from them again but aI have 10 different Ph# they have been calling me from and I will be turning them over to the AG of TX.

They have my info because I was looking for a payday loan and I turned them down. I never got any money from them and I have my bank statements to prove it. I think some people have payday loans and are confused by this tactic of using legal threats and are coerced into paying them for money they have not borrowed from this company. US Fast Cash, biggest scam . The reason I did not use them was because I googled their name and found all kinds of bad things. If you owe money, you should repay but remember to protect yourself and fight back against these vermin, oh well even rats are honest, so what should we call them?

Also file a complaint with the FTC and BBB, please.
