Am I candidate for debt consolidation if none of my bills are in default? Meaning if nothing is overdue and I have kept up on all my bills is this still an option for me?

Yes, you can take a consolidation program even if you are current in all your bills. Your advantage of taking this program will be the lower interest rates than what you are paying at present. All the bills will be combined together into one monthly payment. This way, you won't have to draw multiple checks each month. Monthly statements will be sent to your mailing address showing how your money has been used by the consolidation companies towards your creditors.
