Can I Trust this Law Office?

I signed up with this web forum a little over a week ago and filled out the little Free Counseling and Analysis form you undoubtedly see somewhere on this page. A couple days later, I started receiving phone messages and an email from Guy Laieta with Coleman Law Offices in Deerfield Beach, FL. I was skeptical, but after a few more email exchanges, I felt comfortable enough to talk on the phone today. He was exceptionally sweet, confident, and reassuring, and I immediately wanted to trust him with my debt consolidation. But... I'm supposed to call him first thing in the morning to start setup of an automatic draft.
While hours ago I was elated at the prospect of finally biting my debt back, I'm now quite doubtful that something so helpful could be this easy.
I've been looking up online what few scraps of information that I have, (the company name on the bottom fine print of their ACH Debit Form is "Federated Financial, Inc." and they have a pretty nasty page about them on RipOffReport.com), and I'm getting really nervous about possibly being scammed. This guy was really, really nice on the phone, over email, and I'd like to do business with him.
I guess what I'm saying is that if anyone has positive feedback on this specific company and/or counselor, it's my fondest hope that you're reading this now and will post about your experience with them. I have a few hours in which to either go forward with Guy and Coleman Law Offices, or go back to stuffing pillows over the telephone handset to muffle the incessant ringing.
Thank you!
I think they are listed as Federated Financial Services, Inc wit
I think they are listed as Federated Financial Services, Inc with BBB. This is a BBB members company, has satisfactory consumer experience too. You can check their profile.

oddgirlie, never hesitate to ask your questions to the counselor, clarify all your doubts before you deal with them.
Ask them, how the accounts are going to be reported once the program is over, will it show paid as agreed or settled. It seems they are going to settle your account. Insist them to help you get a paid as agrees status.
Tell them that you are not feeling comfortable with auto-debits, so it will be better if they can arrange some other payment mode for you.
Insist them on giving you regular update (written) about the program. Know the procedure of canceling the contract also.
If you get satisfactory response, go for them, or come back here and contact the site admin. They arranged a good consolidation company for me.
