Use of credit cards after enrolling in the consolidation

I think in the long run debt consolidation would help your credit..A consolidation company can help you pay things off faster and avoid judgements and other things that would look terrible on your credit report. It's definitely better than letting everything fall to pieces!
I suppose you could use your credit cards if you didn't put them in the consolidation plan, but you'd have to be pretty disciplined.

I agree---the consolidation company that I am using doesn't request that you put all of your accounts with them----but you would have to be a very, very strong person.

Jerry, contact the credit bureau as they maintain the log files of updated address of every company. Do you know the area of their business? You can also contact the local BBB for inquiring the address.
