ive got over 8k in debt, and im only 23. i had to use a credit card to live off of for a while, bad idea, i know, but i couldnt live any other way. now, i cant do anything about my balance. i can only afford the minimum payment, and my balance never goes down. what can i do to get out of this..

Hi aero86

Try a free quote from the counselor. He will structure your payment options and plan your finance. Your credit company will be contacted for a lower pay off before this debt poses the risk of running out of the SOL period or any legal actions. After all the negotiations are finalized with the companies, you will be offered some plans to repay the debts. Choose the plan that suits to your needs and get started with the program after signing the contract.

Consolidation will helpful at such a situation when you are unable to see the principal amount going down. Besides, the late payment fees and other charges also make the total become huge. Talk with the counselor for some professional help.
