Sorry I haven't been on but for some reason I couldn't pull up this website from home. Anyways good and bad news. Good news first. Out of the seven payday loans we have paid off 2 of the storefront lenders, 1 storefront will be paid off on the 18th if all stays the same, paydayselect is current via money order, and have agreed to continue to take payments this way. Now the bad news--my husband did not get his direct deposit changed soon enough so the bank took the whole check which was good because they would have been paid off and closed monday once his direct deposit cleared. However, ics decided they wanted to debit the account twice for 62.00 but the bank say they are going to send it back but we'll have to pay the 36.00 fees on both. Which when we went in to do the affadavit the man told us he would not charge us but he was new, so oh well for that. The lady in customer service said we could pay a one time 36.00 fee and won't have to worry about paying separate return fees but hopefully we will be able to put the 72.00 in soon and close it completely down. If we don't then they are probably going to keep trying every pay period. My husband has been on vacation and when he got back to work yesterday he had a note that he needed to speak with payroll. Don't know what that's about but I'll find out Monday. Hope it's not a dreaded wage assignment which it's nothing they can do anyways because we both work for the state and I asked my payroll dept and they say they will only honor court documents. Whatever it is I'm not going to worry about it. I had been so down the last couple of weeks but it's going to get better hopefully. I realized only today that my husband's car will be paid off in october so that will be one less bill I will have to worry about. Hallelujah for that. Thank you all so much and I will continue to check in as much as I can. School starts tomorrow so I'm about to try and get the kids ready.
