Need some advice

I'm thinking since this would be the time to tackle this before it becomes and issue and we start receiving collection calls.
What would be the best method? Should I just go to my bank and ask for a loan? We don't own a house, so I'm not sure where we could go.
Thanks.

Dashiellx, I have heard from most of the people that taking a new loan is not the best option to pay off the existing debts. The interest rates are paid twice on the existing debt as well as on the new loan taken. Besides, you have to show something upfront before the bank gives you new credit. You might face disappointment and you may fee down.
Try the positive method of shrinking your debts. Pay them off through the consolidation program. You are pro-active about the coming times and the consolidation plan will be a definite help. You have registered for the free counseling here. So, talk to the person about your debt situation. He will frame some payment plans for you so that the process becomes easier and worthy. I find most of the people voting for the consolidation program. You should also give a try.
