The bank should help her, what bank is it? They should be able to track the withdrawal and be able to give her some information. If I were her, I'd go in and raise he** until they helped me. I googled it and didn't really find much. I can only imagine how upset she is, I know I would be.

kyside38,
Your friend needs to go straight to the bank manager. She needs to explain that she never had a pdl and that they have unauthorized access to her account. If the bank manager doesn't do anything, you can also contact the Department of Financial services in your state and file a complaint against the branch. Most banks don't like it when you bring the Dept. of Finances into a problem.

We need to find out who these people are. Thanks KYSIDE38 |
I'm a victim of this as well, someone has gained unauthorized access to my checking account. The detectives are currently working on my case. That have taken two separate transactions out of my account of $99.00 each.

Network Systems Plus
I also have had a questionable experience with Network Systems Plus. My step-Father died in January. His banking account was closed and all debtors paid. He never had any services through Network Sysytems Plus. In August, NS+ attempted to withdraw $86.00 from his closed account, and sent a dun when the "check was returned". with an additional $25 assessment for the returned check. The letter was with the NS+ letterhead but was worded suspiciously. A "control number" was included which when entered, stated the deceased's name, (which didn't verify anything other than their own letter.) It further stated that unless challenged within 30 days, the debt would be considered valid. When I called the 800 number, it would not connect to an operator.
I believe this to be an elaborate scam.
