I got a call from a girl from Nationwide Cash at 4:15 EST trying to settle this account. I had not heard from them for over a month. I have paid well over $1,000 for a $300 loan. When I told her I had filed a complaint with my AG and what the laws were in the state I live in, you could tell it went right over her head. When I asked for an address, her response was " we only take checks, credit card or moneygram/western union. I assume she had decided I wanted to settle the loan. When I asked for the information in writing, she stated that they did not give written information. When I informed her that I had sent a letter that informed them not to call me and to send it either US mail or email, there was dead air, she then told me it would be turned over to their legal department. I think that is what I was tolld over a month ago, after I was told by Albert he did not have time to read the emails I had sent.

This is very typical of Nationwide cash. We actually did get them to settle for a little over what we borrowed from them, it was not an easy thing to do though and we paid them off recently. We did use T&C to get this done though because I was not going to deal with them on my own. I am sure you will soon hear from someone else from Nationwide unfortunately. They are one of the hardest companies to deal with. Search the forum there are several threads about them. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Is this a single loan with Nationwide Cash or do you have other loans also with them? So far, I understand that you took a $300 loan and have paid them back $1000. If you have paid this much amount, the debt is certainly paid off by now. You have to write dispute letters to the company's mailing address and talk with their supervisors. Unless they can prove that you owe them some more money as per the interests and fees of your state, don't send them anything. Keep disputing till you get the ???Paid in Full' statement.

Sue, I read in your other post about the google search box at the top. I searched with their company name in the box and found these links to be helpful for Lanita. Have a look.
