My experience with Lawgistix
Date: Wed, 08/30/2006 - 11:41
My debt is varied with accounts at just about every creditor you can think of. I’ve got Chase, American Express, Citibank, Discover, MBNA, Victoria Secret, Home Depot, Best Buy, and an HSBC account. My debt load was getting up there when I found Lawgistix. I know, I know, I should know better, right? Well, I do, but we all get into situations where we need ready money. A lot of my debt was from medical bills, but the creditors don’t care about that.
I did not want to file bankruptcy, but knew that it may end up being my only choice. The sales representative that signed me up explained that Lawgistix was designed as a last resort to bankruptcy. My client service rep later advised me that there may come a time, even now, when bankruptcy my be in my best interest, as well as my only option. I asked her why she was telling me all this, that it was making me reconsider my decision with joining Lawgistix and if I quit, then the company would lose money. She said that Lawgistix wants their clients to know their options and be able to make educated decisions. I have to admit, I was pretty pissed off at first, but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. Thinking back, that seems to have been a recurring theme during my program: my options. Rather than saying, “this is the only road to takeâ€Â, I’ve been given options and counseled on what could happen, but I was always in control! After all, I did get myself into the debt!
Anyway, this is a little longer than I intended, but I would be more than happy to share more of my experiences with anyone that cares to ask, and I am deeply sorry for those of you who have had bad experiences with debt companies.

Thanks for sharing. It is great to hear great settlement stories from people that have good things to say about them. I have been in my progam almost a year now and I have questions for you. BTW, I am with CNI.
Anyway: has pretty much all your letters and statements stopped? Do all your creditors contact your settlement companies? I noticed you mentioned Citibank and Chase. My hubby and I have two cards a piece from these companies. Have you ever received a Mann Bracken threaten of Arbitration letter on CHase's behalf?
Have you ever been issued a summons? or are they all simply just threats???
I have been threatend, but nothing else.
