I recently printed my credit report and found this collection from this company. Don't know them, never heard of them. How to remedy this?

Welcome :D You can send a debt validation letter to the CA,then dispute with the CRA.They will look into the matter to see if the debt is valid.Send your dv letter,certified,return receipt,and always keep copies of this. This may be an old debt that is long out of the SOL period,but you need to find out so it can be taken care of.Keep us posted-We look forward to you posting in the future...Karen

Dispute the item with the credit bureau also. Mention that you are unaware of this remark put by the CA and are awaiting their response. Seeing your request, the bureau might also run a check with the company and get the updated records.
