Everyone -

I just got the following e-mail from Telmerica.

We would like to clarify that this loan was in fact unsolicited as it originated in consequence of you approaching an internationally accessible website.. You came to us for a loan and agreed to the Terms and Conditions of the loan that was being made by WWCN in the UK.

However, given that we pride ourselves on good customer service and do not like to have an unhappy customer, we are going to refund the amount of $551.00 that you requested. You should see the deposit in your account by the end of the week.

(Back to Rick.) I just replied to Janet and thanked her for being willing to work with me on the refund. (Gotta b nice u know. :) )

But... I reminded her that the account was closed and asked if she could send the funds another way. If not, I have another account to which they can transfer the funds. I'll then withdraw the funds from that account and close it so they can't do anything sneaky.
