I have about $30k in credit card debt and i am not sure which route I should go. I have been on time for all my past payment but just realize I should really taking care of my debt now that I finished schools and have a decent job. Are there any guidelines that will help me to decide? How's everyone experiences?

Yes...I think I understand the two different approach right now. I have talked with Rescuedebt regarding consolidation and Superiordebt about settlement. it seems that consolidation will take long to get off debt but settlement is also risky because it can really damage one's credit. Superior debt calimed that their program is not debt settlement? They do said that they offer credit repair. What is this process? I am really concern that creditors will start calling me all the time.

You need to figure out the best option that will eliminate your existing debts. Settlement sounds to be risky but you are safe when you have the right company taking care of your accounts. Most of the settlement companies make you aware of the possible consequences in the beginning. You should also know whether this company has any past experiences on working with your creditors. You will like to go ahead if they have given out positive results to other consumers with the creditors you are dealing with.
