Debt Consolidation not settlement

I am paying my debt monthly but less than than the monthly payment, due to high interest and fees. I talked to Superior debt relief, recommended by this site but they are a settlement company. I want debt consolidation, can anyone suggest a good company that does consolidation and not settlements?

Do you mind explaining your situation a bit like how much is the total amount of your debt and what companies you are dealing with? Perhaps, settlement can be a good option if the total debt is too high to be paid if a consolidation plan is chosen for the purpose. I can understand you don't want to see your accounts shown as "settled" in your file. But a good consultant will be able to negotiate on this with the company.
