Another person from this forum opened up a separate account to put these pdl refunds into and then I think is going to close it. If you do this take the money out immediately. May I ask what company you were dealing with?

Or open a new acct. for your permenant use and let them use the old acct. to place the refunds into once you get all of them (Hopefully this will be the case), close the old one, that is if you haven't already.

I am going to see if they can wire money to a Western Union. I just really don't want to open an account just for them since they are the only ones willing to send me a refund.

Maybe this can be an option to look at if the refund amount is a large sum. Before I point it, first figure out if you are willing to do a small expense from your refund amount. Or if you decide to use a separate account for them to deposit the money into, see if you bank will give you the option of blocking the debits. My bank did that for me on one of my accounts, they were able to block all debits but allow all the credits to post. The company can deposit the money in, but they won't be able to take it out. Once the money is in the account, you can have your bank remove the block so you can get access to the money.
