Did someone move this thread???? or what?

silly me, I had only previewed it and not posted it.

I contacted bud hibbs and they have done nothing but
discourage me from my settlement company and told me
that the credit card creditors will come after me anyway regardless of the fact I am in a settlement
program. I argued to the point that I have spoke
with several people here that is happy like I am in the settlement program and they still slammed it.

I am not impressed one bit with their comments.
I think that when BBB has excellent ratings on a
company that is a plus and that is also the situation.

I am however confused, because they swear on their life they are coming to sue me....and the settlement company will do nothing.

If you trust your settlement company, then you should only do as they say. Don't hear others otherwise you will always find yourself to be in lots of confusions. Now that you have already put in so much money to the settlement company, focus on them and how your proposals are being sent to the credit companies.

But I have heard wonders and thunders about this bud hibbs dude and I found them to be anything but professional and friendly.

I can understand why the settlement company would tell me what I wanted to hear, because they want my business, but what does this Hibb guy want? what is his motives?

Yesterday, I got a phonecall at work from a gal with Stage and I told her to call my company.. I DID not call my settlment company about it to do a test with them. I waited until today to call them. They told me who it was they talked to and the same time yesterday around when she called me. They told me they are trying to settle for 45% with her and they thought they would accept. I have no reason at this point to feel as if they are not legit.

Mishele, how is your company going?

Which settlement company are you working with? I checked out Bud Hibbs's website the other day and found it informative. I have just started working with a settlement company so am not to the stage where anything can be negotiated yet, but would be interested in hearing how things progress for you.

Oh, and another contradiction of Bud Hibbs.... in his website it mentions the worlds worst CA's. It talks about one company that have this "bogus" arbritration claim and such.

But when asked about it, he says, "they will come after you and sue you through arbitration..." the words bogus, scam and fake never uttered their words.

I guess ripoff was right about them.
