I also received a collection letter demanding payment from a pdl where I made a payment arrangement.
I don't know if I should call the pdl or just let T&C know about it. But T&C already contacted them and I have a copy of their proposal letters to them.
On a lighter side. My calls have decreased to 50% and I was able to pay off 3 of my pdl in full.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I'm trying really hard (saving and budgetting) to pay more of my loans before the end of this year even if I already signed them up w/ T&C.
Are the ones that are demanding payments storefront or online PD
Are the ones that are demanding payments storefront or online PDL's. The one storefront PDL I was dealing with was accepting payments from my debt program but they still tried to take me to court and get judgement against me. They probably would have won if I hadn't filed bankruptcy.

Great News!!!
Although, I would definately let T&C know about the letters.
You might want write a letter back to them, CRRR and reiterate that you've been paying them through T&C and you no longer wish to communicate with them.
That way you have something in writing.
Ask T&C for the update on this loan account? They did their job
Ask T&C for the update on this loan account? They did their job by sending the proposal to the lender. Now, you need to know what was the lender's reaction towards the proposal placed by T&C? Your concern is that it should get accepted anyway.
cease and desist letter
I live in Alabama. I have several creditors calling me at work about a couple of debts. Can I send creditors a Notice to Cease Communication with me at my place of employment?
kirasienna13, unfortunately, the cease and desist communication
kirasienna13, unfortunately, the cease and desist communication legally works only on debt collectors, not on creditors or the payday lenders. They are not legally bound to follow this clause. But, you should still send your request in writing about not to be contacted at your place of work. Chances are that they might honor your request and stop calling at work.
PDL UPDATE
Pink Lady, they are all store front. What you said about them getting a payment and still tried to get judgement against you is scary. I hope it doesn't happen to us who think that signing up w/ a consolidation are safe from all this b/s.
I spoke to one of my pdl's manager and made a payment arrangement myself not w/ T&C but I'm still getting collection letters. I called the manager again & told him about it but then he said it's fine. I asked him to send me something in writing that I am cooperating w/ them and I am sending them my payments but he said "I have his words".
What if he get fired tomorrow (knock on wood) or what if something happened to him. He is very nice & I don't know if I need to be more pushy so that he can give the letter I'm asking.
kirasienna13, if your pdl is still alling youa t work, send them a letter if they don't stop try filing a complaint against them to you AG's office.
