i have a loan with them too. i haven't defaulted on my payments though

well i have a loan with them and several payday loans and i am thinking about closing my account so that the pdl's cant take out any money and i haven't defaulted with them either but am wondering if anyone knows what i should do

That is an option, but write letters to them and tell them what you're doing. If you've paid your loan balance in full with the appropriate interest allowed for your state, that should be enough.

may help you defend yourself against further action from them.
Also, you can consider consolidating your loans and pay monthly, that is if the pdl's accept the proposals.
You have choices, it just depends on which direction you want to take this.
There's been many success stories here. You'll have to look around on this forum and get some ideas.

if i consolidate them does anyone know how long it would take to get a final answer. i will be leaving on maturnity leave in about 2 months so i dont have much time before my paychecks are cut in half

It all depends on the company your using. It took me about 2 months to get everything done. Had a lot of trouble with pdl's not responding to proposals and such.
