Lost/Stolen card

I had a store card that was either lost or stolen. I reported it lost and was issued another one. My question is this was over a year ago and both accounts are being reported to the bureaus. The one shows active and current and the other shows lost and current; so each month the creditor is saying that I am paying on both accounts. Can I dispute this? Does this hurt my credit record?

Mikeal, did you notify the credit company in writing immediately after the store card was lost. How will they assume now that you are saying it right? Did you file a police complaint at that time? These actions were ought to be necessary.
