Sent a validation letter including a C+D to LVNV Funding LL

Hello again,
I sent a validation letter including a C+D. LVNV had been calling 4 and 5 times a day but stopped before they received my letter. My question is do they stop calling after their first letter is mailed out? I'm not complaining but wondering why they stopped calling all of a sudden. They called for about 4 days. I got the letter and then no more calls. I'm sure it's wishful thinking but hope they realized I've already paid Sherman. Thanks, Cathy

Do you have records about this debt being paid? If you have, then it is useless for LVNV Funding calling for the same account. I think you should keep a check on your credit report if they are trying to enter any incorrect negative info.

I do have cancelled checks but I settled for a lesser amount. Don't know if that matters. Sherman never sent me anything saying the debt was paid. I shouldn't have paid them until I received something. Thanks!
