Can you still send a cease and desist letter to licensed Ohio pdl's? I have two pdl's (Check n GO and CashNet USA) that are coming up for payment but my checking account is in the process of being closed and if a payment gets through I will be overdrawn more than I am right now with the bank.
I had sent letters to all my pdl's some were over paid and one was just seeking the finance fee payment. Regardless, two companies Route 66 and SGQ Processing ignored my letters and requests and put a ACH debit through. My bank accepted even the debit even though the account was to be closed. The bank says told me it didn't matter if I closed the account because they can still put an ACH debit through and it will reopen the account. I was like wt*? U know. So I am battling my bank and filed complaints with the OH Dept of Commerce since I had previously filed a complaint with the OH AG. My bank is sending the info to their fraud department since I proved to them this account should have been closed when I asked but they still want me to pay the over draft of $154 and if not every 4th business day $35 is added to the insufficient funds fee. Can u believe that? I don't have the money to pay that amount right now. So I am fighting that battle.

But getting back to the license lenders they are CHECK N GO ($912.50) and CASHNET USA ($790). Can I still send them the letter and explain my situation? I have taken loans out with these companies before and always paid them back. I am in a financial strut since I am fighting the other pdl's that I have overpaid and still behind on my other bills like my car note. I am not disputing paying Check N Go or CashNet USA but I am strapped for cash and do not know what alternatives if any I may have.

Thanks.

Any advice?

hi.

you can definitely send them the cease and desist..Just make sure you also send a letter detailing the payment arrangements you plan to make. Then make sure you keep them..As long as you are trying and keep them up-to-date on what is going on, they should be willing to work with you.

By the way..You might want to consider going in there and talking to them in person. Just a thought. Have you had harrassing calls from them already?

Sorry, I didn't clarify myself the two licensed pdl's I obtained on-line. Check n' Go does have a store but I obtained the loan via on-line and there is no CASHNET USA store but they are licensed here in OH. Therefore, I haven't experienced any harassing calls yet and that is what I am trying to avoid along with any debits since I am having a problem with the bank.

Is there a template to send to licensed pdl's?

Update - I contacted Check N' Go and they are willing to work with me they have forward my email & account to their collections department and Jim Go will be contacting me.

I am kind of having a hard time with CASHNET USA at the moment. I sent them the same email that was sent to cng but this was there response:

I sent them a reply stating the same info that this ca is not active and to stop any deductions. Have you seen a response like this? Any suggestions on how I should proceed with CASHNET USA?

Thanks everyone.
