The story is simple. I had a full time job, 20k a year decent for a kid right out of college. Stayed thier for 3 years till i decided to go back to school in a different state. Well got here and tried to find a job but no one was replies. Finally i got a job after being down at school for 6 months, only to find out my boss was giving me a terrible reference, so 6 months worth of credit card usage without really paying much of it off is where i sit today. since then its just been snowballing.

Bribroga, you can use some profession advice and combine your debts in the consolidation program. You will come out of your debts soon. Are you planning something?

Ok, you can look into this page and review the options available to you. Then you can talk with the consultant and discuss about your repayment plans. He will work out something that suits to your present situation.

Okay first thing is you stop the snowball from rolling down the hill, cut the crdit cards up and do accrue any more unsecured debt, the next thing is until you find your "perfect" job you take on as many odd jobs as you can, delivering newspapers, fast food, department stores anything you can find to help you get cash in your pocket to pay some of that debt down. The last thing is in the future no more unsecured debt if you can't pay cash for it then you can't have it and if you have to use credit for daily living expenses then you are living above yur means and need to consult a financial officer to find out how to cut costs. Good luck

I am still learning this lesson as I aprroach 45, I think the PDL mess I got myself into this past year was what woke me up to cash on the barrel concept. I am not saying its easy but my mind is so much more at ease if I don't have creditors. They can't take away something that is paid for, I don't think :D
