I am trying to help my fiance get out of credit card debt so we can finally start our lives together free of debt.

This may sound harsh and many will argue with me BUT if it were me I would WAIT until my fiance got himself/herself out of credit card debt before taking your vows, help him however you can, emotionally be supportive but do not take on the debt yourself. Keep posting and good luck
