I just read that there is help for those who are in trouble with Payday loans. I want to consolidate mine and pay them off. I have been paying on one of the loans for $250 for 8 months and have paid them a total of $1,216 in refinance charges. I would appreciate any assistance.

One consultant referred by this website will be calling you for the free counseling. Discuss your payday loan accounts with him and he will guide on your next moves.

It sounds that you may have paid the principal amount and the charges allowed by your state. Which state are you in and who is the lender? The consultant can assist you in getting the account marked "closed" by the lender.

I did receive a call from CCCS, but they do not offer help with Payday Loans. I recently joined CCCS where I live - in Maryland to consolidate my credit card debt. I informed the gentleman I spoke with today that I was signed up with CCCS already and he said thanks and that was it.

The loan is with Payday-Advance.com - don't know where they are located - I receive emails from them and it does not show a mailing address. Thanks for reading my post.

Pleasant Payday loans are ILLEGAL in MD. I would contact your state Attorney General and quite paying these people you have overpaid way to much the maximum legal interest in your state is 33 percent per year. Consumer and Antitrust Division. You can get help. Good Luck KYSIDE38
