Current Debt

I am currently dealing with one credit card debt that is at about 18 thousand dollars due to interest rate charges. My husband lost his job about 3 yrs ago and I fell behind on payments. So behind that I was never able to get back on track. He is now working again but due to illness I can only work part time. I consolidated my credit cards and had two accounts closed but this one account was not resolved and I dont know what to do at this point I really need help. Most companies need you to consolidate more then one account but I no longer have any except this one please help.
