How Can I Stop the pdls?

I am about to explode because of high stress due to internet payday loans. I have 3 currently open. PaydayOk, Zipcash, and 500fastcash. So far PaydayOK has been ok...no extra charges. 500fastcash has withdrawn two of the same amounts within days of each other. I haven't paid Zipcash yet, but plan to pay it off in full on my next payday. I live in Ohio. I need help.

I realize it's my fault for falling into the trap. However, I have spoken with 500fastcash 4 times today. They have the documents I faxed (payoff at the next payday) and the "extra" charge, but it's in "processing." THis is after waiting 3 hours. I was told to wait 3 more hours. I spoke with my bank, but was told that I needed to dispute with 500fastcash before disputing the charge at the bank.

I am sick to my stomach. :(

Welcome to the forums. We have several people on here from Ohio. My advice would be to figure out how much you have paid these people in total. Also send out a report to the Attorney Generals office. They cant help if they dont get the complaints. Best Wishes Kyside38

FilbrunOh, go to this link for knowing the laws on payday loans in OH. Then, go through your bank statements and find out how much you have paid on the total balance. The calculation is very easy. No loan company can add more than the permissible charges. Once you know the latest status of your debt accounts, call the companies and tell them about your payment plans. They want to get their money back so they will adjust with you.
